June 11, 2004 - 'Green' Floor Finishes and Strippers

As you know, the demand for 'Green Seal' or 'Environmental Choice Program (ECP)' Certified cleaning products has grown dramatically over the past 6 to 12 months, and is confidently expected to continue it's phenomenal pace of growth. To support the demand for 'Certified Green Products' Green Seal and ECP will soon be releasing a Criteria for Floor Finishes and Strippers. The draft criteria can be found on their respective web sites.

In the meanwhile, we have 3 products 'recommended' by Green Seal - ES 80 High Gloss Floor Finish, ES 96 High Traffic Floor Finish, and ES 85 Scrub Free Stripper. We have the most products of any company on the 'Recommended List" and are one of only a couple with a system of finishes and stripper. In addition to this 'List', we do have those same products on other lists of certain States and Provinces.

We plan on waiting until both organizations release their Criteria, likely 90 days or so, and then shortly thereafter release our final engineered formulations with the objective of meeting both, or determining which Criteria is the most beneficial to the North American marketplace and meet their Criteria.

Enviro-Solutions is the only manufacturer that has 5 products Certified by both Green Seal and ECP, thereby ensuring the most stringent Criteria has been met (including ES 84C Neutral Floor Cleaner Concentrate); 14 products Certified by ECP (including ES 84 Neutral Floor Cleaner); and various products Approved by certain States, Provinces and Cities leading to be 'green and clean'. In addition, our Floor Finishes and RESTORE are UL Certified for Slip Resistance. We are committed to continue to lead the 'Green Market' with PROVEN products that:

• work as well or better as traditional ones
• are priced competitive to the major traditional brands
• are safer for people...users as well as occupants and visitors to the buildings
• are safer for the environment

Given the fact that we have major, very large customers that have been using the products for over 6 years, some 10 years, we know that if the products did not work well, were not priced competitively, or were in fact not safer, they would not have remained customers for that length of time. Unlike the majority of 'Green Manufacturers', we have PROVEN Certified products that have been in use for a significant length of time, and we only produce safer products, in all categories. This is all we do!

Lastly, we know this market. We can add significant value to our Customers that want general information on the potential hazards of traditional cleaning products, what is 'green', how to implement safer cleaning chemicals, etc. For our Distributors, we can assist in learning how to sell 'green' and 'green' products, and thereby growing incremental sales and customers.

For our Distributors, I strongly suggest that you present ASAP this information to your valued customers and prospects looking for 'green' products. Remember the 'blast' from last week - Ready, Set, Went! Take it to your competition before another 'green' supplier takes it to your customers and prospects, or is better prepared than you!
